Warren County Talent Behind Nicki Minaj Parody, “Super Balls”

Remember a few months ago when rap superstar Nicki Minaj shared her claims that the COVID-19 vaccine caused her cousin’s friend in Trindad to become impotent and suffered from a case of swollen testicles, all from getting the vaccine?
If you somehow missed it, no worries — here’s a screenshot. ⬇️

Her words circulated through cable news, blogs, and was entertainment fodder for a few weeks.
But let’s be honest, would it really be a moment in pop culture history if it wasn’t bite-size content for a late night show monologue?!
Of all the hosts, Stephen Colbert and his lightning fast writing team created an Emmy Award winning segment with Super Balls, a spot-on parody of Nicki Minaj’s mega hit, Super Bass.
But, what you may not know is who did the voice-over? Who was able to emulate the upbeat rhyme and rhythmic stylings of Nicki Minaj?
It was none other than Warren County’s own, TANIA JONES!

Tania Jones, singer and actress, voiced the Nicki Minaj parody, “Super Balls.”
A Warren County native and WCHS Class of 2001 grad, Jones has made her mark in the entertainment industry, touring all around the country. In 2018, she starred alongside Kurt Russell in the Netflix original, The Christmas Chronicles.
As of today (12/1), the video has garnered over 300k views!
