Based on the best-selling book, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever follows the outrageous shenanigans of the Herdman siblings, or \u201cthe worst kids in the history of the world.\u201d So no one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant. which causes a lot of people to be up in arms. The end result, however, is one of the most unusual pageants anyone has seen and, just possibly, the best \u2013 as everyone discovers the true meaning of Christmas.<\/p>\n
Auditions will be a cold read from the script. LCAC practices \u2018blind casting\u2019 – (casting without consideration of ethnicity or race), as well as welcoming performers of all skill\/experience levels. There are roles for boys and girls, ages 8-13; men, mid 20\u2019s to late 40\u2019s; and women, mid-30\u2019s to mid-60\u2019s. Additional baby angels, choir members, and shepherds are also needed; this is a great way for whole families to volunteer to work on the
\nshow as kid wranglers, sound\/light tech operators, set builders, backstage crew, or production assistants. Training provided!<\/p>\n
