Shaw University’s quiz bowl team will put your knowledge to the test.

Who sang “Not Gon’ Cry” at the 1997 Grammys? In Disney’s “Moana,” Maui stole what body organ from the goddess Te Fiti? Oshun is the goddess of the river and love in which West African culture?

Play to win!

Prizes from local artisans and WUNC swag headed to the top three winners.

Hosted by Shaw student Daisha Robinson and Josephus III of The Poetry Cafe, with additional question writing by The Warrenist and Wake County Public Libraries. The music guest is A.yoni Jeffries, a local Afro-Indigenous hip-hop artist and co-owner of Handèwa Farms.

The monthly HBCU trivia night series is presented by WUNC, North Carolina Public Radio.
