The club is open to attendees 12 and up of all experience levels, from those who regularly read or watch Japanese media to those just starting out. This event is a special program where attendees will make and eat cup noodles together while discussing their favorite anime and manga!

Cup noodles, toppings, and chopsticks provided. Just be ready to make conversation while you eat!

Join the Warren County Memorial Library for a special Messy Play Monday all about finger painting, a classic sensory activity perfect for toddlers. This session invites little ones to explore color, texture, and creativity using just their hands (and a lot of washable paint!). We’ll provide large sheets of paper, non-toxic paints, and lots of encouragement as children create their own masterpiece. No rules, no pressure—just joyful mess-making and self-expression. Finger painting supports fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early artistic exploration—all while giving toddlers the freedom to get messy in a safe, welcoming environment. Things to Know: • Wear clothes that can get messy • All materials are non-toxic and washable • Smocks provided • Caregivers must stay with children during the activity

In this hands-on program, participants will design their own Scratch Art Postcards—bright, bold creations with a magical twist. Using special scratch-off paper and wooden styluses, kids and teens can etch out designs, doodles, or messages that reveal vibrant rainbow colors underneath. It’s part art, part surprise, and totally fun!

Once finished, postcards can be taken home, mailed to a friend, or displayed as a mini masterpiece.
