George will be at Locorum starting at 7:00 to discuss the inspiration for her novel and how she went from concept to draft to published.

Texas Loophole is a journey of Gen-X vicarious nostalgia.

A coming-of-age story of Toni, an Upper East Side Manhattan girl who spends her summers with relatives in her mother’s hometown of Waco, Texas. She forms a lifelong bond with her Uncle Dale, one that informs her personality and shapes her future.

Despite being a (very) unconventional love story, it is a relatable and humorous look at growing up in the 70’s & 80’s.
