Soil Collection Ceremony

Join the Warren County NAACP and the Community Remembrance Project for the Soil Collection Ceremony on Saturday, May 11 at 11am at the old Warren County Jail.

The soil collection is step toward acquiring the duplicate monument from the EJI Legacy Museum in Montgomery. The monument names the 1921 lynching Warren County lynching victims, Plummer Bullock and Alfred Williams and creates a historical backdrop for remembering them and ensuring their story a place in the history of Warren County.
