Summer Reading Kickoff @ Warren County Memorial Library

This is the Kickoff to Summer Reading 2025 at the Warren County Memorial Library in Warrenton, NC!

This year’s theme is “Color Our World.”

Registration begins for Summer Reading 2025 on June 17th at 10:00am. Summer Reading will continue until our Glow Party Finale on July 31st!

At 10:30am, everyone is invited to attend a dazzling performance by Dana Hill Magic. Representatives from community organizations will have materials and information to share with families until 2:00pm.

This year, prizes will work a little different than in previous years. Everyone who registers for Summer Reading will be asked to track the number of books they read. The goals for each age category are:

Ages 0-11: 10 Books

Ages 12-15: 5 Books

Ages 16-Adult: 4 Books

Note: Graphic novels count as half of a book.

Each time a participant meets the goal for their age group, they will win a small prize, as supplies last!

In addition to these prizes, various programs throughout Summer Reading may have door prizes – attend as many programs as possible for the best chance to win. To celebrate the grand finale, many wonderful prizes will be given away as door prizes at that event. We hope to see you there on July 31st!
