DESCRIPTION:Any male or female over 12 years old interested in joining the WARREN COUNTY JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS PROGRAM is invited to our Open House Recruitment Night to look at fire trucks, see equipment & tools, watch demonstrations of donning turnout gear & airpacks then try it for yourself!\nBring your parents and friends!\nREQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THE WARREN COUNTY JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS:\n1. CHARACTER: Demonstrate good moral character; have no criminal convictions, and no adverse driving history.\n2. AGE: Must be between 12 to 20 years of age.\n3. SCHOOL: Required to maintain a “C” average or higher with no failing classes, and maintain a satisfactory school attendance record (no excessive absenteeism, no suspensions).\n4. JOIN A VFD: Required to join your local volunteer fire department as a junior member (your FD will provide you with the appropriate equipment, gear, and insurance) and you must also attend their required meetings and trainings.\n5. DUES & FEES: Required to remain current with membership dues and fees (currently $38 annually).\n6. PARTICIPATION: Required to attend Warren County Junior Firefighters monthly meetings and actively participate in trainings, fundraisers, community service projects, etc.\n
